Frank Atienza appeared in this episode as one of the HPD officers guarding the real Jhakal at the hotel. Even though it was a speaking part, he was uncredited.

(2) The hotel where Jhakal planned to stay was the Halekulani. There, Kono went to give the impression that Jhakal was there. In actual fact, the scene was filmed in the Yacht Harbor tower of the Ilikai Hotel, now the Moderne Hotel. The hotel where Jhakal actually stayed was the Yacht Harbor tower of the Ilikai Hotel.

(4) The two-engine propeller plane on which Jhakal flew into Honolulu was a Martin 404. It bears resemblance to the DC-3, but it stands upright with a nose wheel; whereas, the DC-3 sits down on a tail wheel as is known colloquially as a tail dragger.
